Broken Hearts and Fragile Life

This weekend was good but it was overshadowed by some very sad and shocking news.

DH lost a very dear college friend on Friday morning. At the young age of 33, B. had a brain aneurysm that hit sudden, leaving his brain with no activity; death was instant.

B. was one of the guys who helped bring DH out of his shell in college and I have heard so many stories about their groups that I feel like I know him personally. (He was supposed to be in our wedding but didn't get to make it.)

DH is still shell shocked.

My prayers and sympathy go out to his family and wife. He will be missed by so many.

What a shock to lose somebody so quickly like that. My heart goes out to you both and his family. It reminds you why it's so important to enjoy every moment of life, I guess.
