Fury… I don’t think there have been too many times in my life that I could use that word and true, honestly mean it… This weekend was one of those times…
DH and I have been TTC conceive for several years. In November we saw our first specialist and we know it is going to be a rough trip for us, but we are strong and can handle it…
That being said, if it was physically possible for me to reach through the computer and strangle someone, I would have on Saturday. On the weekends, I sometimes lurk on the TTC Boards. I will not mention name but the following comment was made: “I actually asked DH if God was punishing me because I did something that he didn't like.” Normally a comment like this would not upset or excite me, I have asked myself that many, many times. What upset me was the fact that this girl is just starting C3 as of yesterday and she thinks that God is punishing her!!! Two FREAKIN’ cycles have passed and it reads “TTC SUCKS!!!”
I realize I am old and bitter and that I do not know this person from Adam, but OMG GROW THE HELL UP!!! The average HEALTHY couple take UP TO A YEAR to conceive and she is fed up after 2 months?! I would hate to see how she would be with potty training… Maybe God will “punish her” and not let the child learn for 2 months… OH, the horror!
I just wish people would think before they speak. Yeah maybe the suggestion that us “Old Farts” should find another board is a good idea, but I enjoy the talks and laughs and excitement. All I ask it that a little bit on common courtesy be used!
Does TTC suck? YES! Is heartbreaking and does it make you crazy and want to scream? YES! Does it take strength and dedication to go through it cycle after cycle and not give up? YES! But there are a LOT more women out there who have earned the right to bitch and complain and ask “Why me?” and I don’t care if this gets back to the board, she is NOT one of them!

I lurked back and saw who it was and it pissed me off too. I wish we could move from JSO, but 6+ is so slow sometimes. I wish we could make a board for just ourselves where we have to approve everyone who comes in...we could call it "The Bitter Bitches Board" LMAO

Anon, *bitter* is when we see some white trash "holier then thou" Nazi like yourself who probably has at least 10 kids she can't even support.
