I Dream...

I dream...

That one day, my life will fall into place. I will own my home, I won't have to worry about money, my job will give me some sort of satisfaction, my family will be complete.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

It's funny how as a child, my dreams were beautiful and they contained children and laughter and joy with no boundaries.

Then I grew up and I realized that not all dreams come true, joy is often sprinkled with sorrow and laughter is often followed by tears.

But what happens to those childhood fantasies, dreams, wishes? Where do they go? Are they floating around somewhere waiting to be plucked up, dusted off, and reused? Or are they deep within us waiting for the right moment to be stirred up and brought back to 'life'? Can we recapture the hopes and faith of our youth? Is it possible to gain strength in letting those dreams come back? Are our adult dreams really that different from the 'kid-stuff'? No, I don't think they are different, just more evolved, more elborate, more focused.

I dream...

That one day I will hold in my arms a little piece of heaven with my good looks and daddy's sense of humor. That one day, I will hear the words, "I love you, Mommy." That I will be able to gaze into a crib and watch the soft breathing and contentment on that beautiful child's face. That one day all this heartache will be worth it.

So once again, I sit back and I dream....

That I will get the chance to see not only myself, but my "girls" celebrate the gift of motherhood and know that deep down, we suffered but the reward was far sweeter that we ever could have fathomed...

You are my rocks and foundation when the world feels cold and lonely and I don't know where to go from there. I just want to say, Thank you all, for just being you.
