Updates - Been sorta out of it for a while.

1.) Running on- Running on empty – Jackson Browne

That is how my life feels right now. I am just running from one horrible day to the next. Life is not beating me to a pulp but it is [w]itch slapping me until I want to scream, “STOP! I want off this ride!” Each time I feel I finally have life under control, BAM! I am smacked down again. I know that I am supposed to be learning and growing from these experiences but I wish the lesson would hurry up and get here.

So I have rearranged the budget once again and I am still not happy. If we did get pregnant, we can't afford full-time daycare or for me to stay home. Somehow, I need to find a way to make money at home, legitimately. Either part-time or full-time, it doesn’t matter; I need to build a serious nest egg.

Anyone have any ideas?

2.) Maybe I’m the one who is the schizophrenic psycho – Puddle of Mudd

I have one of those personalities that basically can come off in one of two ways; I am affable and fun or aloof and uptight. If someone has gotten on my bad side, I am very aloof and uptight does not even cover it.

Maybe I need to start wearing a tag that says, "Approach with Caution, contents tightly wound".

3.) Well hey, hey, I wanna be a rock star - Nickleback

Some jobs are sought for fame and fortune. Some are sought for the glory and prestige that it invokes. Some are sought for the admiration that comes form doing that particular profession. There are certain jobs that should be done because you have the heart for that venue, i.e. doctors, counselors, nurses, peace corp, charities, ministers, social workers, etc.

I would love to do a job I loved and get paid for it well. Unfortunately, stay-at-home mommy isn’t high paying. Neither is work- part-time- mommy. And there is that whole lack of child thing. Any who, our minister did a sermon basically saying we should do our jobs for way it effects others and helps others, not for the attention, money, glory, praise, etc. It gave me a lot of food for thought. I am struggling with a decision that needs to be made and it gave me a little more insight.

4.) They're coming to take me away - Dr. Demento

I hate hate hate hate hate living in a swing state. If I see one more political ad I may have to gouge my own eyes out and poop my ear drums. Okay, maybe not that bad but it severely sucks right now. I can't wait until the whole cotton-pickin' thing is over.

1. I agree - I believed that if i just made "today" a good day 365 times, I'd have a good year.
But some how life picks me up my the back of the neck. lifts me really high just to drop me flat.
Not exactly my best 365 days.

2. Dito on the personality - I wonder who I'd be today if it werent for TTC. Probably a sweet sane woman.

3. I'm afraid to be a rock star - in fear that I'll forget I want to be a mommy too.

4. I cant wait for my stocks to go back up.

Good to hear from you ~hug~

I'm living in a swing state. And I understand. I have parties calling me to see what they can do to get me to vote on their side. How bout get a candidate that isn't a freaking a-hole?

~hugs~ on everything else. I wouldn't worry too much on budgeting for the future. I NEVER thought we'd have anough pay to afford daycare, yet once it comes, it got worked out. It's all about budgeting for that first and only then figuring out the rest of your budget. It works out, I promise.

I'm sorry your life is sucking to you right now. For me, even though I look around and see I have everything I could want, I'm in the midst of some severe emotions where I can barely even function. It happens.

I've been wondering how you've been. I'm sorry life is smacking you around right now. I really hope things start looking up soon. BTW, I looked at your chart and noticed it's not updated. Anything going on there?

Almost texted you today. You've been on my mind. :)

Swing state living sucks.

Hey, my entire pay check goes to childcare and gas. YAY! The main reason I work outside the home is for medical insurance. Oh, and because I love teaching. But still, it's almost useless budgetwise....

Missing you.
