"You mean there are two office sites?"
Bad Google! Why didn't you magically know that the interview was at the satellite office? Wait. The office managers should have told me.
Yep. I was 10 minute early to the surgery center and 10 minutes late to the actual interview office. Not my fault though and the manager took total responsibility.
The interview did go well. For the first time I was not nervous at all. Like DH said, I already have a job so I have nothing to lose, only to gain.
She was super impressed with my computer skills and work history. She was also very happy to know I have background with government and commercial insurance. The company encourages growth and betterment for their employees. There is good insurance, 401K, AD & D, temporary disability and a sane boss. It is also associated with one of two major hospitals in our area. A stepping stone, if I am actually picked for the job.
It is about 10 further from home and DH and I won't be able to car pool but I am okay with that if they give me $.50 cents on the hour. I will know in two weeks so I really appreciate all the prayers and positive thoughts so far but I would love it if they could keep on coming. I just need guidance that I am going in the right direction.
Oh, by the way, does anyone know... is a billing Manger the equivelant of a billing Manager? Four sets of eyes missed that typo my my resume. Thank goodness I didn't add attention to detail as a strenght... lol

Oh, I hate it when I do that. The hospital I work at is huge. The have several sites, and trying to figure out what site can be frustrating. I am glad you found the correct location. I hope this works out for you. You will be in my thoughts.
Ack! I'm glad the manager took responsibility for that one! Good luck & I say ask big if you can- the worst that happens is they say no, you negotiate, or you stay where you are- no big losses! Especially with all the price increases these days, salaries don't quite keep up- at least mine doesn't lol!
Still keeping good thoughts for you- I hope it all works out beautifully & the only snag is going to the wrong site!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. And if this doesn't work out, hopefully something even better will come your way.
LOL, on the typo though. Personally though I'd be quite impressed to see a manger that can bill!
